Deadly Voices

About

We want to share your deadly work (research, practice or policy) with the health sector nationally. Be part of our collection of Aboriginal and Torrs Strait Islander voices that will be accessible on our website as a resource. Promoted on social media, your bite sized stories will  help inform, educate, support and empower others. Deadly Voices is a strengths-based narrative of what works, what others need to know and what’s new. Join us and share what you do with others around the country. It all helps to make a difference.

Do you have a Deadly Voice you would like to share?

Here is what we need to get started.

  • A 2 – 4 minute voice recording from you on your phone.  Record in a quiet area on your phone with either your voice recorder/memo app or video camera app
  • Your Name, your Mob and your Country (this will be added to the collection)
  • Tell our listeners about an emerging health issue, what your clients say about their health issues, what’s working, an award you’ve won, a team you’ve built, a new program, an initiative to get visits up, how to talk about touchy subjects, or new  resources.
  • Then email it to us t.hoyne@ecu.edu.au
  • The content will be reviewed internally and we reserve the right not to include if doesn’t match our brief
  • If it is included we will send you a short permission form
  • We’ll let you know when the collection of Deadly Voices is coming out so you can share it too
