The Centre for Research Excellence: Building Indigenous Research Capacity to Find Solutions to Alcohol Problems is a partnership between Aboriginal Health Workers and other professionals. The primary focus of the Centre is alcohol prevention and it aims to develop and evaluate pilot programs in urban and regional settings, throughout New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. The Centre also aims to draw together cultural and community expertise, in order to grow the evidence based approach to health issues among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
