Description

Hitnet is a knowledge exchange platform that aims to provide digital innovations to engage marginalised communities. It provides health and wellbeing information and services across integrated digital platforms that enable rural and remote communities to: 

Through the use of knowledge exchange and digital platforms, Hitnet has been able to address a range of issues within rural and remote communities throughout Australia. Some of these include smoking, diabetes, lung cancer, sexual health, mental health, consumer rights and kids' ear health.

Hitnet has over 70 community hubs in operation with almost 70,000 uses a year.
