National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC)

Description

The National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC) was an Australian Government initiative that provided evidence-based information and support for health workers and community members. It brought together expert individuals and organisations to focus on efforts to prevent the uptake of cannabis use and reduce the harms of cannabis use. NCPIC was established in 2007 and was based at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Funding for the centre ceased in 2016.
