Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation

 

Description

As a whole-of-community wellbeing organisation dedicated to children and families, Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation primarily provides a culturally appropriate stimulating environment in Broadmeadow, New South Wales (NSW) in which Aboriginal children can:

The word Muloobinba comes from the Awabakal language, and means Newcastle and Place of Sea Fern.

The cultural educators aim to make each individual Aboriginal child valued. They further aim to nurture and respond respectfully to all children and families. Like the culture that the organisation takes its name from, the Nikinpa community in NSW is built around respectful relationships.

The organisation also offers parenting and family assistance programs, for crisis situations.
