Aboriginal Housing Office

 

Description

The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) was established under the New South Wales (NSW) Aboriginal housing act 1998 to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in NSW have access to affordable and quality housing.

The AHO has two key functions:

The AHO works in partnership with housing providers and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations to deliver effective policy and standards across four key performance areas:

The AHO has four offices, including a head office in Parramatta, and three regional offices located in Coffs Harbour, Dubbo and Sydney.
