Indigenous Knowledge Centres

Description

Indigenous Knowledge Centres (IKC) is an online network website providing a space for community members and visitors to access information about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Queensland (Qld). Twenty two regional and remote communities around Qld have Indigenous Knowledge Centres providing an opportunity for community people to share knowledge and connect with one another.

The State Library of Qld have worked with Aboriginal Shire Councils and the Torres Strait Islander Regional Council since 2002 to establish the IKC online network.
