Children's Cancer Institute

Description

Children's Cancer Institute was originally known as The Children's Leukaemia and Cancer Foundation. The organisation is the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to childhood cancer. The institute focuses on translational research, making sure discoveries are progressed into treatments for kids with cancer.

The organisations research programs look at understanding childhood cancer to prevent it occurring, search for more effective diagnoses, examine better and safer treatment options and finding a cure for children affected by this disease.
