Yanunijarra Aboriginal Corporation

 

Description

Yanunijarra Aboriginal Corporation is a West Australian (WA) based organisation that is responsible for looking after Ngurrara Country in the Kimberley region of WA. It was established to manage approximately 77,803 square kilometres of exclusive possession native title land.

The Corporation currently manages a team of rangers, who carry out conservation and land management work. A contracting business is also run through the organisation, which offers services such as earthmoving, grading and roadworks.

Yanunijarra Aboriginal Corporation's key focus is on creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to work on country, look after country, and teach about country.
