SA Cardiology Clinical Network

 

Description

The South Australian (SA) Cardiology Clinical Network aims to increase the involvement by health professionals and consumers in planning and developing clinical cardiology services in SA. The Network works to develop cost-effective health services for the state through improvements in prevention, early detection, early intervention and management of heart disease. Aboriginal and country cardiac care are a focus of all the Network's current working groups, which include:

The Network produced a Statewide cardiology clinical service plan, which provides a framework for cardiology services in SA for 2010-2015. Aboriginal cardiac health is a focus area of the plan.
