Marthakal Homelands Health Service

 

Description

Marthakal Homelands Health Service (MHHS), situated on Elcho Island, in the Northern Territory, is a mobile Yolgnu (Aboriginal) Medical Service covering 15,000 square kilometers in the remote East Arnhem Land with a population between 250 to 400.

The MHHS is administered from Galiwin'ku on Elcho Island and includes homelands on Elcho Islands as well as the mainland of Australia.

MHHS aims to support the Yolgnu to live longer and healthier lives through a range of programs including:
