Indigenous Marathon Foundation

 

Description

The Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF) is a not-for-profit charity providing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women to compete in The New York Marathon.

The theme of the organisation is Run, sweat, inspire and uses the marathon to:

IMF works with relevant organisations to place athletes in employment in health, sport or recreation sectors.

IMF was formally known as the Indigenous marathon project changing the name in June 2015.
