Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation

 

Description

Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation is a Broome, Western Australia based Aboriginal community controlled and managed organisation driven by an Aboriginal membership.

The organisation's primary objectives are to build the capacity of the Aboriginal community and individuals of the region, and to end hardship, suffering and helplessness in Indigenous people within the Kimberley by building capacity and fostering self sufficiency.

The mission of Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation is to service members, member communities and Indigenous people with cultural development, employment, training, sustainable environmental health, and social and economic opportunities that assist in self sufficiency and self management to obtain a better standard of living.

The organisation collaborates with individuals, communities, organisations and the Government to build a better future for Aboriginal people in the Kimberley.
