Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation

 

Description

Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation is a not-for-profit community based organisation providing culturally responsive services to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living on the Gold Coast of Queensland.

The aim of the organisation is to provide services and support to people affected by the cycles of inter-generational trauma, alcohol and drug misuse, domestic/family violence, unemployment, poverty, homelessness and child neglect and removal.

The organisation responds to the community needs, using a strengths based approach and empowerment strategies to support the improvement of clients' social and emotional wellbeing.
