Berry Street Childhood Institute

Description

Berry Street is Victoria's largest independent child and family welfare agency providing services in support of disadvantaged children, young people and families since 1877.

In 2012 the Berry Street Childhood Institute was launched with the aim of collaboratively mobilising leadership, knowledge and resources so all children have a good childhood.

Berry Street Childhood Institute works with Aboriginal families through the Two ways together approach, where workers learn from families and share their knowledge to ensure a better support system for children.

Berry Street was first established on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation in Victoria.
