Redfern Foundation

 

Description

The Redfern Foundation is a charitable organisation supporting the Aboriginal community in the inner city of Sydney, New South Wales. The primary goal of the Redfern Foundation is to support the Aboriginal community to become self supporting, healthy and have a source of hope, pride and leadership.

The foundation assist local community organisations that are operated primarily by and for Aboriginal people with the aim of building their skills, strength and resilience.

Established in 1998 the foundation operates with voluntary staff and receives limited funding from community, government and non-government sectors.
