Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation

Description

The Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation (WYDAC) originated from the Mt Theo Program which was started by Yuendumu Community in 1993 to address chronic petrol sniffing in Yuendumu, Northern Territory.

The organisation aims to provide a comprehensive program for young people that includes; development and leadership, diversion, respite, rehabilitation, and aftercare throughout the Warlpiri region. The programs and services provided, work to facilitate the strength and capacity of Warlpiri young people to meet challenges such as substance use.
