Rangelands NRM Western Australia

Description

Rangelands NRM Western Australia (WA) is a non-government organisation which supports and encourages the sustainable use of Australia's natural resources - land, flora and fauna, fresh water and the coastal marine environment.

Rangelands is responsible for the establishment, management, evaluation and communication of many natural resource management activities and projects. The purpose of the organisation is to facilitate collaboration and best practice in environmental outcomes for land and coastal resource managers in the Rangelands of WA.

Rangelands works with a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on caring for country projects that provide community members with the opportunity to work on country and utilise traditional methods of conservation to protect their local environment.
