The Central Australian Youth Link-Up Service (CAYLUS) is a non-government organisation which aims to improve the quality of life and address alcohol and other drug use affecting young Indigenous people in Central Australia. CAYLUS works closely with communities using a community development approach to reduce harmful substance use. In particular they have worked to address volatile substance use through supply reduction and demand reduction approaches.
Initiatives supported by CAYLUS include:
CAYLUS has operated since November 2002 and is a division of the Tangentyere Council, based in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.
