Community and Industry Engagement program

 

Overview

The Community and Industry Engagement (CIE) program provides funding for the development and implementation of waste management projects, initiatives and events that divert waste from going to landfill, and recognises improved waste management practices.

Funding of $1 million is available through the program, and there is no funding limit for individual projects (infrastructure cannot be funded through the CIE).

Examples of eligible projects and events include:

The funding is available for community groups, industry, local governments, regional councils, State Government agencies, peak bodies, and research and educational institutes.

Applications for 2018 close on 12 February 2018.
