2018 Cervical Screening Scholarships for Western Australian nurses and midwives

 

Overview

The WA Cervical Cancer Prevention Program (WACCPP) is pleased to announce that scholarships are available to nurses and midwives working in the private and publicly funded sectors that are committed to delivering cervical screening services.

Scholarship funding will cover the cost (theory and clinical practicum components) of attendance at the Sexual Health Quarters (SHQ) Cervical Screening for Nurses course (external site) to be held from Monday 12 February to Thursday 15 February 2018.

To be eligible applicants must be:

Scholarships can only be awarded on submission of a completed WACCPP application form and the required supporting documents. Priority will be given to applicants who practice in an area with limited services and/or low cervical screening participation rates.

Due to high demand and limited funding available, agency and casual nurses are ineligible to apply. Applications close 4pm Friday 22 September 2017.
