Alcohol and Other Drugs Youth Grants Program

 

Overview

Grant funding of up to $20,000 is available for individual projects and activities aimed at preventing and reducing youth substance misuse in the Northern Territory (NT).

This may be through the provision of positive activities, such as training and opportunities in the arts, skills development and other diversionary activities where a component of alcohol and other drugs education is included.

Where substance misuse is already occurring, projects or activities that increase community or individual capacity to directly intervene in preventing misuse of substances will be considered.

Criteria assessed for eligibility include:

Education or training projects and activities where there is a focus on alcohol and other drug use will be prioritised. Grants of up to $20,000 will be made available for projects and initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of alcohol and other drug use among young people.
