Indigenous Science Scholarship

 

Overview

The purpose of the scholarship is to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with the costs of tuition fees, books and study expenses, accommodation and basic living expenses while studying science at The University of Queensland.

The value of the scholarship is $20,000, $10,000 per semester, consisting of the tuition fee payable for the recipients program with the remainder paid directly to the recipient.

The scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who intend to enrol full-time in one of the following programs (list of programs subject to final approval) in the year of the award:

Preference may be given to students from North Stradbroke Island, Queensland.

Applications close on Friday 21 October 2016.
