NHMRC Indigenous Internship Program

 

Overview

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) offers opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in an Undergraduate or Masters degree in a health or medical research related field to take up an internship in the agency.

The Indigenous Internship Program provides a wide range of opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to gain insight into the work of the NHMRC, as well as to enhance their educational experience through practical work experience. An internship with the NHMRC provides:

The Indigenous Internship Program usually takes place between November and February each year, with applications opening in August/September.
