Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) Diabetes Research Grant Program

Overview

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) Research Grant Program is designed for researchers, academics and student researchers from Australian universities and research institutes who are working with credentialled diabetes educators and people with diabetes on research projects that aim to improve diabetes care, management and education.

Grants will be awarded to applicants who best fulfil the grant selection criteria and who are employed at an institution with appropriate research facilities, under the supervision of a responsible investigator. Research should be conducted in Australia and impact positively on the quality of diabetes education and care.

Grants of up to $60,000 are being offered for a maximum of 12 months.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are sought by Friday 27 May as the first step in a two-part application process. The outcome of the EOI will be revealed in July 2017.

Successful applicants will be invited to submit full applications and final selection of grant recipients will be made from the full applications.
