Indigenous Peoples' Medical Scholarship 2017

 

Overview

The Indigenous Peoples' Medical Scholarship 2017, valued at $10,000, is open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people currently enrolled in a medicine-based degree. The Scholarship aims to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors in Australia by supporting Indigenous students to complete a medical degree.

The Scholarship commences no earlier than the second year of the recipient's medical degree and the successful applicant will be able to provide:

In this application, potential students will be asked to provide a letter from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community organisation in support of their claim to the scholarship.
