Dental relocation and infrastructure support scheme

 

Overview

The federally funded Dental relocation and infrastructure support scheme (DRISS) supports the distribution of dental services into regional and remote Australian communities. The scheme provides relocation incentives and infrastructure support grants to dentists who relocate to provide general dental services in regional and remote locations. The funding is for:

The grants are available to registered general dentists who want to work in private practice in a location more regional, rural or remote then their current practice. DRISS is an initiative of the Australian Government's Department of Health and is administered by Rural Health Workforce Australia.
