Strong culture: a road to good health - diabetes prevention small grants for schools and community groups

Overview

Diabetes WA are offering a number of small grants between $500 and $3,000 for West Australian schools, youth centres, community groups or organisations. The grants will help groups to implement health promotion projects with a focus on diabetes prevention in primary schools and other community settings. The aim of this initiative is to reduce the incidence of type 2 diabetes by increasing awareness and a broader understanding of it amongst Aboriginal communities.

Any Western Australian school, youth centre, community group or organisation can apply.
