Overview

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) has been offering the Freddy Fricke Scholarship since 2002. The scholarship is designed to support students in undertaking university degrees in NSW. The scholarship is named for Freddy Fricke who in 2000 left a bequest to NSWALC. The scholarship provides small but vital encouragement to young Aboriginal students and is available for a range of subjects including community welfare services, community management, health and medicine.
