Elspeth Young memorial grant

 

Overview

The Elspeth Young memorial grants provide financial support to Indigenous Australian undergraduate and graduate students at the Australian National University (ANU). This support is directed to costs necessary and incidental to studies, but not including any fees. The grant is available as a one off payment. The amount varies from year to year depending on the funds available.

Applicants must be an Indigenous Australian and selection will be determined by the committee. The following may be taken into account

  • the academic value of the applicant's proposed program of study as assessed by referees
  • the applicant's academic record
  • financial need
  • the money available in the fund in any year.

Applications close on 20 February 2015 and 24 July 2015.
