Medibank Community Grants



The Medibank Community Grants invite not-for-profit groups to apply for funding for initiatives they believe will make their community a healthier place to be.

Through the Medibank Community Fund, $600,000 is set aside by Medibank each year to fund health and wellbeing projects that help people help themselves. The aim of the grant is to promote people to eat well, stay mentally and physically active, and connect with their communities.

Funding of $100,000 is available for each New South Wales/Australian Capital Territories, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia/Northern Territories/Tasmania and New Zealand. The minimum amount an organisation can apply for is $10,000, and organisations are encouraged to apply for no more than $50,000.

Applications are open to community focused, not-for-profit organisations, which includes relevant incorporated associations, welfare support agencies, and community groups and schools. Individuals and unincorporated associations are ineligible for the grants. Applications are assessed on how their proposed program/project:
