Aboriginal land clean-up and prevention program

 

Overview

The Aboriginal land clean up and prevention (ALCUP) program provides more than $1.7 million to support Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALC) across New South Wales (NSW) to protect their cultural and natural resources from illegal dumping through clean up, prevention and deterrence.

Local Aboriginal Land Councils can seek funding of $5,000 to $50,000 for individual projects of one year's duration. Funding offered under the program aims to:

NSW LALCs, government agencies, local councils, non-government organisations, consultants and other entities working in partnership with a LALC are eligible to apply for funding.
