Sea country partnerships sponsorship program

 

Overview

The Sea country partnerships sponsorship program provides an opportunity for Great Barrier Reef traditional owners to be more involved with sea country management.

Traditional owners can apply for sponsorship up to the value of $5,000 per person under the program to cover participation in training, events and exchanges that will enable them to better manage their sea country. Resources will be made available for individuals to:

The Sea country partnerships sponsorship program was developed by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.

The funding is available towards established and emerging traditional owner groups across all geographic areas of the Great Barrier Reef catchment.
