Resilient Australia awards

Overview

The Resilient Australia awards are a nation-wide grant that aims to recognise and promote initiatives which support and strengthen community disasters resilience.

By celebrating innovation and exemplary practice, the awards aim to increase the visibility of work that is often unseen, and motivate and encourage others to think about what they could be doing to be better prepared and more disaster resilient.

The Resilient Australia awards are sponsored by the Australian Government Attorney-General's Department, in conjunction with the states and territories. Submissions are welcome from organisations and individuals across a range of sectors including not-for-profit, private, government and education.

Applications are judged first at a state and territory level and winners become finalists for national judging. National judging also includes applications to the 'Australian Government' and 'Projects of national significance' categories which are not judged at a state or territory level.
