Audiometry Screening and Assessment Program

 

Overview

Target audience: Ear health workers, with a child health focus

Course summary: The Audiometry Screening and Assessment Program is evidence based, skills focused and nationally accredited, providing successful students with the opportunity to gain a qualification that can be added immediately to their scope of practice.

This nationally accredited program incorporates the delivery of four units of competency. Three of the units included in this program are from the Audiometry Skills Set included in the National Health Training Package.

By packaging and contextualising individual units of competency, we are able to develop and deliver a program to meet the specific needs of students who will be conducting comprehensive Audiometry Screening and Assessment as part of their clinical role.

This program is designed to offer a broad range of skills and knowledge while being more accessible for all participants studying throughout the country, particularly those in regional, rural or remote settings.
