Caring for our community - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Course

 

Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the health field.

Course summary: A two-day program to enhance the role, knowledge and practice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers in cancer care, prevention, screening and early detection and end of life care.

Fee payable: not specified

Delivery mode: On site - it is anticipated that future courses will be located in the greater Brisbane region, Darling Downs, Bundaberg, Townsville, Cairns, Weipa and Mt Isa.

Financial assistance: Bursaries of up to $700 will be available to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the field to attend.
