Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015)

 

Overview

Target audience: Those people wishing to work in the community and/or the residential setting to provide person-centred support due to ageing, disability or some other reason

Course summary: This course provides participants with the skills to obtain positions in the following environments: aged care, disability, planned activity groups, day services and local councils. The qualification can lead to areas such as Certificate IV in Ageing Support and Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance.

Students will need to complete seven core and six elective units over a 15 month period. Course topics include:
