Overview

Target audience: For those who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, who are already employed in a heath care environment

Course summary: The Certificate II in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is delivered flexibly. This is a foundation course for those employed in a health care environment and will provide participants with skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs. Some skills will be practiced and developed in a simulated environment and some will be assessed on-the-job.

Participants will complete 7 core and 3 elective units to achieve the qualification of HLT20113. Some of the core units include:
