Overview

Target audience: This certificate is applicable to individuals with breadth of knowledge, skills, and experience in assessing and treating a range of health problems in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

Course summary: The diploma provides a sound knowledge base on chronic disease issues which affect Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in the primary health care setting. The course enables health workers to engage with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in an effective and culturally sensitive manner on this topic.
