Sand filters and mound systems for on-site wastewater treatment

 

Overview

Target audience: People who have an interest in learning more about sand filters mound systems for on-site wastewater management

Course Content: This three day course will cover content relating to the selection, design, sizing and construction of sand filters and mound systems for on-site wastewater management.  It will provide participants with information on the requirements for these systems as set out in the Australian and New Zealand standard and the relevant state and regional government guidelines. This will include illustrations of where the sand filters and mound systems can be utilised to effectively treat on-site wastewater as well as advice on environmental management solutions.
