On-site wastewater management training course

 

Overview

Target audience: People involved in planning, design, regulation, management, installation and performance supervision of on-site and decentralised wastewater management systems. It will be particularly useful for those working in the environmental health field. 

Course summary: This training course occurs over a three day period. It will cover content relating to on-site wastewater systems, their design and management. It will provide participants with information on how best practice and emerging technologies can be used to improve on-site wastewater management and protect public health and the environment.

The course will cover a range of topics, including:

The course will include illustrated lectures, practical demonstrations and exercises as well as a field based site evaluation and design exercises. Participants will be encouraged to discuss and exchange information with other on-site wastewater practitioners.
