Ice: Training or Frontline Workers

 

Overview

Target audience: Frontline workers, including those from the health and welfare, education, criminal justice and transport sectors

Course summary: This training package was developed as part of the Victorian Government's Ice action plan, and aims to provide information and resources for frontline workers who provide services and support to people who use the drug ice (crystal methamphetamine). The package has a specific focus on the identification and care of people who are intoxicated with, and/or withdrawing from ice, and their families and carers. There are seven independent but complementary modules, which focus on:
