Master of remote and Indigenous health

 

Overview

Target audience: Experienced health professionals who are interested in advancing their knowledge of remote health.

Course summary: This course aims to provide participants with theoretical knowledge for understanding social determinants of health and illness and implementing primary health care based initiatives to improve health outcomes. It will also address issues related to colonisation by examining an inter-professional framework for practice. Course core units include:

Fee payable: Yes (this is a Commonwealth supported course)

Delivery mode: External and on site (includes a compulsory intensive in Alice Springs)
