Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Course summary: This online course explores the challenges around sexual health, especially blood borne viruses, in a no-shame and entertaining way. The training focuses on the strengths of cultural diversity and warns against simply addressing issues through personal ‘cultural lenses’. After completing the course, students should have an increased awareness of cultural competency and the issues around sexual health across the cultural divide.
