Quandamooka Bajara

 

Overview

Target audience: Early childhood educators, service providers and schools located within the Bay Islands, Redland Bay, Wynnum Manly, and Bayside areas of Moreton Bay

Course summary: Quandamooka Bajara ‘educating on sacred ground’ is a three-month cultural competence training, education and empowerment program.  It teaches how to successfully embed Quandamooka cultures, histories, achievements, perspectives and visions for the future to children in early childhood centres and schools. Direct support is provided with curriculum planning, teaching strategies, service delivery and evaluating programs and services. Topics covered include:
