Overview

Target audience: People wishing to work in the mental health, psychiatric and mental health promotion

Course summary: This course is nationally recognised and accredited by the Australian Government and will equip students with the knowledge, skills, values and experience to perform competently as a mental health worker.

The course covers workers who provide a range of community services focusing on:

The course is a competency based training program and will take a minimum of six months to complete determined on individual levels of current competence and recognition of prior learning (RPL).
