St John Aboriginal Services - first aid

 

Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

Course summary: This is an easy, hands-on course designed to give participants a good grounding in first aid and covers basic life support skills. It offers participants the opportunity to practice and demonstrate their newly acquired skills in practical scenarios.

This course is ideal for members of the general community and participants will gain vital skills and information needed to provide first aid and basic life support within the community. 

A statement of attendance is issued to course participants.

To deliver the course St John require a minimum of eight participants from the community to attend the training and the training can be adapted to meet the community needs.
