End of Life Care - a Program to Strengthen the Role, Knowledge and Practice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers

 

Overview

Target audience: For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers who have completed the Cancer Council Queensland cancer basics program.

Course summary: This one-day education program will assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers when supporting people dying with cancer in community.  The aim of the course is to increase the skills, experience and knowledge of participants by providing information about end of life issues.

Fee payable: Free

Delivery mode: On site

Financial support: Successful registrants may be eligible for travel and accommodation assistance

Programs will be held towards the end of 2016 and into 2017/2018.
