Overview

Target audience: People who work with or deliver services to Aboriginal people

Course summary: Spirit Dreaming aims to provide a range of Aboriginal training and educational programs to increase cultural competency and promote a greater understanding of Aboriginal peoples within the workplace and communities.

This one-day workshop aims to address cultural realities in order to improve service delivery to Aboriginal clients and co-workers.  The workshop explores the issues related to three major areas which impact on Aboriginal peoples: trans-generational trauma, lateral violence, and cultural loads. Topics covered include:
