Bachelor of primary health care

 

Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students currently working or planning a career in Indigenous primary health care services

Course summary: This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to provide evidence-based, culturally safe and appropriate primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The focus is on developing safe, effective and supporting primary health care professionals, and aims to provide Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander students with a supportive environment in which to undertake tertiary studies. Some course units include:
